- Watched a documentary for on Marian McPartland today for a story on Examiner.com. She is said to be a synesthete. Then, after looking at Wikipedia, we realized it was her birthday today. The odds are, one out of 366, this being a leap year, one out of 365 the rest of the time ... Yeah, I've had a few lucky guesses over the past few days, but this is getting ridiculous ... My trick? The ability to "see" music. The curse? Occasional bouts of overstimulation, or, what I call, "Information disease."
